We do this as a public health and safety measure as well as to maintain the integrity of the tattoo industry, as such we need to confirm all new customers as one of the following:

- Apprentice Tattooers with a Professional Studio
- Tattoo Studio Owners/Managers/Assistants
- Cultural Tattoo Practitioners (eg. Tā Moko, Tatau)
- Qualified Cosmetic Make Up & PMU Practitioners


We generally verify new customers in a couple of minutes without needing to make contact for more info.

The best way to ensure we can verify you quickly is to include details in your order address and/or notes such as your studio name or Instagram/portfolio.

Orders cancelled and refunded due to a new customer's inability to be verified will incur a 3% charge to cover transaction and refund fees charged to us by the payment provider.
